Meet the team

The team at Oxford Guardians is made up of a carefully selected group of people with the right experience, background and motivation to care for your children. We have been in academic roles, welfare roles and administrative roles in the UK and overseas and we understand the needs of children as parents ourselves.

Fung Fung,
Oxford Guardians Oxford
Co-ordinator

Janet has a vast experience of looking after language students since she has been a host mother to students for over twenty years. During this time, Janet has met students from many different countries and cultures. In addition to her work as a co-ordinator for Oxford Guardians, Janet works
in the accommodation and welfare office of a reputable international college in Bournemouth where she helps students to settle into their host families and assists with any problems or health issues they may have. She finds working with students very satisfying and rewarding, and feels she has a large extended family all around the world!

Fung Fung came to the UK as an international student over 10 years ago and is now married with three young children. After working with overseas students during this time and remembering her own experiences she fully understand what the most important things for international students are when they move such a long way from home!
