Oxford Guardians – List of Fees for 2011/2012

1. Registration Fee (non-refundable) £100.00 single payment

2. Oxford Guardians Premium Service Fee £900.00 per term

Recommended for all children regardless of age during 1st term

3. Oxford Guardians Main Service Fee £ 600.00 per term

All children under the age of 13 years must take premium service

There are 3 terms in an academic year in the UK: September – December (generally the longest term), January – March and April – to early July.

4. Initial Deposit for your Child’s expenses in the UK £ 1,000.00 payable in advance

This expenses deposit will cover your child’s costs such as:

Homestay Accommodation fees for exeats, half terms and holiday periods

Weekends (stays with host family for 3 days or less) £ 40.00 per day

Homestays for more than 3 days £ 35.00 per day

This daily fee includes all the meals, washing of clothes and the use of household facilities.

Guardianship service during holiday time* £ 50.00 per week

(*No fee for children under Premium Guardianship)

School holidays are usually 3 to 4 weeks at Christmas, 2-3 weeks at Easter and one week half term in the middle of each term.

Transport expenses

Travel with Oxford Guardians driver - Estimates on request

Travel with Host Family 0.50p/mile

In the event of an unexpected call out, Oxford Guardians will charge travel at cost (e.g. hospital emergency)

Once the balance of the deposit falls below £ 250.00 parents are required to top it up. All expenses will be itemised and parents will receive a termly statement.

5. Additional Services

Arranging holiday courses as required – administration fee of £25.00 per hour

Helping with Visa renewal applications – either in person or by post:

UK authorities Visa fees are not covered by us. We charge our travel at cost and an administrative fee of £ 100.00 per day – not applicable for Premium Service.

Prices are inclusive of Value Added Tax. Our fees are payable in GBP sterling before commencement of each term. All bank charges must be paid by you. At the end of the academic year the balance of the deposit will either be carried over to the next year or reimbursed at the end of the contract. A term’s notice is required for termination of contract.
